Cenacolo di San Salvi

We call Cenacolo a large wall painting, most of cases a fresco, painted on a whole wall in the monastery’s refectories, the large room where monks had their meals, representing the last supper of Jesus. The San Salvi one is considered one of the best ever painted! It is the masterpiece of Andrea del Sarto, painted in the early sixteenth century.
