Anselm Kiefer’s exhibition, opened at Palazzo Strozzi on March 22, is a symbiotic encounter between art, history, philosophy and literature in which concepts and thoughts take shape, express themselves and reinforce each other.

There are many points of reflection that the artist developed during the years of his training, which took place in one of the most difficult and complex moments in the history of man: the second post-war and which he immediately wanted to offer and share with his audience… …and the works are born and nourished by this historical passage which is interpreted by him as an opportunity for reconstruction and rebirth on the rubble and ashes of the Second World War.
