Palazzo Vecchio

This Palace, built in the Middle Ages has always represented the government, it is more than seven centuries old but we still use it as Florence City Town Hall. It looks like a fortress, was enlarged for Cosimo de’ Medici, the first Grand Duke of Tuscany, represents in Florence the palace of the Power. We can visit the huge halls, admire the overwhelming frescoes, nearly touch the statues and climb the tallest tower of Florence, enjoying the panorama of the city from the most central point of view.
